I think this movie is now one of my all time favorites, I just loved it, it was a breakthrough for comedic genius, Jim Carrey

Jim Carrey had brilliant acting as well as touching facial expressions that will make you want to see this movie again and again. It's about a lovable, warm-hearted man named Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) who is just like everyone else except for that small thing he doesn't know .....He is the star of a very famous world wide television show called The Truman Show.

Everyone has been watching him since he was a newborn and as he grew, and everyone around him knows, even his wife and best friend are in on it! He was raised on a set, with over 5,000 cameras recording him and being showed to the world live. Finally in his mid-thirties, he starts to suspect something, but every time he comes close to finding the truth of his world, there is always some kind of problem that prevents him from finding out. With the help of a crew and the creator of the show, Kristof (Ed Harris) they try to manage keeping him on the "island" or set.

The only problem for Kristof is that since Truman was a teenager, he's wanted to go to Fiji because a girl that he liked had (had been forced) moved to Fiji after kissing him and trying to tell him about his world. Needless to say she is against the Truman Show and wants him free.
